The Mibro 3/16in. Wire Rope Thimble is used to create a loop at the end of wire rope, this thimble helps protect the inside of the loop from abrasion and premature wear. It is commonly used in lifting and towing applications where added durability is required. Made from steel with a zinc-plated finish, it offers enhanced weather resistance for indoor or outdoor use. For best performance, it should be used with a cable of the same diameter. When used with plastic-coated cable, the coating must be removed from the assembly area before forming the loop.
