    1. The gin pulley is the pulley wheel attached to the post. This will allow you to raise up materials to where you are working on the scaffolding. You would attach a rope to the pulley wheel.

    1. This Metaltech Hoist Post/Gin Pulley Kit is only designed to attach to a frame section. You would install one extra frame section of scaffold, and then use rails instead of a cross brace. Please see the link below for the rail options available.
