Product Summary

The MP4000FS is a 40-ton Ironworker, powered by a 110V, single phase standard wall outlet or generator. Its compact, sturdy design boasts 40 tons of pressure at the punch station and 20 tons of pressure at the central workstation. This allows the user to punch a 3/4” round hole through 1/2” mild steel (capable of larger holes through thinner mild steel). METALpro’s footswitch design controls a hydraulic power system. This machine comes standard equipped with METALpro’s 6in., 3in. 1 combination shear. The shear consists of a flat bar shear, angle iron shear and round/square rod shear, built into one singular unit. METALpro stands behind their machines with a one-year limited manufacturing warranty. All METALpro machines and accessories are proudly made in the USA and built to last.

  3. what is the difference in the fs model and the standard? And whats the life on the punches and shear?

    1. The standard model features a hand lever float valve. The FS differs because it has a foot operated switch plus it also features a larger motor. The life expectancy can vary depending on type and thickness of material, however people have been known to get thousands of holes punched with the shears and punches.

  4. Do the die's for notching angle iron come with the unit. What notching and bending can be done without accessory packages?

    1. No die's included, must purchase separately. No bending can be done, must buy brake separately, This will shear flat bar, angle iron, round and square stock. Optional items: 8" brake, pipe notcher and metal pro notcher 1/4X3/4X2" . See recommendation below.
