  1. what do I need to use this with my cat 1, 3 pt hitch?

    bought this and the top hole is too big for my cat 1 lift pin. The bottom holes are too small for the stabilizer pins. it's advertised as a 3 pt but doesn't appear to be made for that. what am i missing?

    2. To use this on a 3 pt you must use (2) of item # 26984 "Category 1 Draw Pins" for 3 pt. application.

  2. Draw-pins

    In order to connect this to my Cat 1 3-point, I take it that I also have to order two 26984 draw-pins?

    1. That is correct. You have to order them extra, i.e., they do not come with the plate

    2. Item number 26984, the 7/8" draw pins, are the correct pins for a Category 1 3-point hitch.

  3. is this a hitch adapter?

    is it a standard 2" receiver hitch in the center that will accept the standard ball hitch adapter from my truck? in other words, can this be used to move ball-hitch trailers in addition to skidding logs?

    1. Yes. The center receiver is a standard 2" hitch and accommodates most standard 2" trailer hitch accessories.

  4. What is the load capacity of this item?

    1. This log skidder attachment is intended to be used with the dual hitch clamp, item #38329 or the quick attach weld plate item #38332. Both of those are rated at 500 pound tongue weight and 5000 pound towing weight.
