Product Summary

The Lincoln Electric Ranger 305G Welder/Generator with 674CC Kohler Gas Engine and Electric Start is a powerful stick, TIG, wire and pipe welding, engine-driven welder. It is ready for all day, everyday performance and includes Lincoln's Chopper Technology® for superior arc performance. Since it also includes a powerful generator that produces 9,500 Watts of continuous power and 10,500 surge watts, it provides the power needed to run power equipment, lights, grinding equipment or other power tools at a jobsite. The Ranger provides excellent DC welding for general purpose welding and arc gouging operations, providing an unparalleled 29V for 300 Amp power for stick welding. Lincoln's Chopper technology provides easy starts, a smooth, reliable arc, low spatter and excellent bead appearance. The Ranger is powered by a 23 HP Kohler engine.

  3. IS THIS WELDER SUITABLE FOR PIPELINE USE

    1. I have used a 250 ranger for almost 12 years. I thing the 305 would be great. The bigger the engine the smoother the ark. I have used 2 ranger 250s with both engines and the bigger engine was much smoother.

    2. The Lincoln welder/generator can be used in this type of environment but will not hold up as well as the units specifically designed for this type of operation.

  4. Is the 305 Lincoln EFI?

    Does it have a 3-phase outlet?

    1. This welder generator doesn't have EFI (electronic fuel injection). All the outlets on this unit are single phase, it doesn't produce 3-phase power.

  5. is the ranger air cooled or water cooled?

    i also noticed in one of the previous questions that the ranger comes with 110v and 240v, just wonderd if they came with 3 phase? and what type of plugs are they on as it doesnt show in the pictures, thanks, jim

    1. The engine on this welder/generator is a 23 hp Kolher air cooled engine.
