The Lincoln Electric Port-A-Torch Kit provides the supplies you need to cut, weld and braze, all in one lightweight carrying case. The kit is designed to be easily carried to the site and features a high-impact frame. As supplied, the outfit is capable of cutting 1in. thick metals and welding metals up to 1/16in. thick. (Capabilities can be increased to cut up to 4in. and weld up to 1/2in. thick metals with larger tips and a large acetylene cylinder -- sold separately.)

  1. Are the bottles refillable

    1. Of course they are. They come empty. My local welding supply just switches the empty bottles for two that are already filled. This is a great tool to have around the garage.

    1. Replacement parts are available directly from the manufacturer. Reference the product model and the cylinder serial/test date so they can locate the exact part and confirm availability.

  4. Is the torch, tips etc, a Victor or Harris style? You would think that is a important description. You may want to buy parts , tips, etc.

    1. The torch kit will use Harris torch tips. The torch kit is not compatible with Victor torch tips.

    1. The time that the tanks will last will vary per usage. Continuous usage at one time is an estimate of 30-60 minutes.

    1. The tanks are not filled. You would need to have these tanks filled at your local welding supply stores.
