How small of an generator can I use with this welder
1 answer-
ProductExpert29· 3 months ago
Use at least a 3‑kilowatt generator for 120‑volt operation or a 6‑kilowatt generator for 230‑volt operation. It must be a clean 60‑hertz inverter generator with a stable 90–250‑volt RMS output, and you should allow extra capacity. Aim for about 4 kilowatts for 120‑volt use or 6 to 8 kilowatts for 230‑volt use to handle welding surges and duty‑cycle demands.
