    1. Model #KH637 (LENS,2"X4-1/4" BIFOCAL 1.50 DIOPTER), KH638 (LENS,2"X4-1/4" BIFOCAL 2.00 DIOPTER) and KH407 (MAGNIFYING LENS 2.5 DIOPTER 2X4-1/4) are available magnifying lenses for this unit. These can be purchased from the manufacturer directly.

  2. What size replacement lenses does this helmet use include model# for lenses please. Want to make sure I can purchase replacement lenses before purchasing this product. Helmet is no good to me if lenses are not available. Thank you!

    1. The viewing area is 3.82" x 1.73". The lens size is 4.33" x 3.54". The replacement lens is model number KH778 (item number LCKH778). This can be purchased with our sister company Jack's Small Engines. Please visit their website at www.Jackssmallengines.com.

  3. How do I install a magnifying lens?

    1. To install a magnifying lens, unclip the wire loop from the retaining lugs and move the hinge up. Place the magnifying lens over the ADF viewing area then retain the wire loop with the lugs.

  4. What is battery life? Is there no solar power from the welder to extend battery life? What battery is used?

    1. This auto darkening helmet has an ADF Cartridge that is not replaceable. The life expectancy is approximately 10 years. It is solar cell powered.
