Product Summary

The Lincoln Electric 180A Easy MIG Weld Kit includes the K2532-1 Spool Gun and is an excellent choice for farm, light fabrication, auto and home projects. If you have access to 208/230 Volt input power, you can weld on thicker material. The simple 2-knob control makes it easy to tackle thin steel, stainless or aluminum sheet metal with MIG or thicker steel with flux-cored welding. The heavy-duty wire drive is fully adjustable to reduce the chance of wire tangling and crushing. Brass-to-brass gun connection enhances conductivity. The durable cast aluminum gear box delivers added drive torque and quiet operation. The easy-turn numeric drive tension indicator identifies optimized ranges for different wire diameters. The high-performance forgiving arc makes dialing in your application easy, and a smooth arc starts with minimal spatter. Welding output is a wide 30–180 Amp range. You can MIG weld 24 gauge up to 3/16 in. (4.8 mm) sheet metal in a single pass. You can weld up to 1/2in. (12.7 mm) steel using self-shielded Lincoln Electric Innershield® (FCAW-S) wires.
