It would be easier to use a hydraulic quick connection off your system that has a control lever, Using your connection off the front-end loader will limit your movement of the loader along with loader having to move to keep saw working unless you have a split system to direct hydraulics where needed

Ho do you engage the saw?
Once you hook the hoses up, how do you engage the saw (ie., turn off and on). I am used to front-end loader, but seems it will be on all the time once hooked up.
Also, for ease of use and maintenance, does the circular saw model have any advantages or disadvantages over the chainsaw model?

The circular saw version works very well for hedge trimming and smaller limbs. It will cut up to 5 inch limbs with ease. The saw does not have an on/off feature as it will run once the hydraulic fluid activates the unit.

You cannot mount a circular blade on the chain-drive head; it is only compatible with the dedicated hydraulic circular saw attachment.

how do you rotate the circular saw from vertical to horizonal position
1 answer-
ProductExpert11· 2 years ago
To use the saw in the vertical cutting position for tree limbs and branches, the receiver must be rotated with the handle pointing up. To use the saw in a horizontal cutting position for under fences and trimming along the ground, the receiver handle must be turned to the horizontal position.

Do you hook up the hyd. hose's to the Tractor bucket joystick?? OR to the aux. outlets on the back of the Tractor ??
1 answer-
ProductExpert11· 2 years ago
The saw will connect to the auxiliary hook ups on the vehicle. The hydraulic lines that connect to the vehicle are not included. A minimum of a 3/8" hydraulic hose is needed.

For horizontal cutting, how close to ground can it cut? In other words, how tall a stump does blade guard cause to be left behind. Also, how much clearance is needed between ground and fence wire for blade/gaurd to get under fence?
1 answer-
ProductExpert6· 5 years ago
For horizontal cutting it would be approximately 2". If you cut at an angle, you can cut below the ground. The clearance between the ground and fence would be approximately 3".

Does the circular saw model have any advantages or disadvantages over the chainsaw model besides cutting depth/diameter differences.
1 answer-
ProductExpert31· 6 years ago
The circular head is better for smaller diameter cuts and overgrowth. The chainsaw model would be best for larger limbs and may not as easily cut smaller brush overgrowth like the circular head.
