The Quad-Clean 4-stage air filtration system ensures only clean air enters the engine for maximum power and life of the engine.   1. How do you operate the throttle / governer?

    I will be using this motor to run a fan on a small flats boat. how will I manually adjust the engine speed / throttle position? Is the throttle control on the engine, or do I need to buy a separate cable?

    1. It has a small lever. In the picture it is the silver lever on the right side under the fuel tank.

    2. The throttle is on the engine. There is a lever that you can just move up and down to adjust the speed.

    1. This Kohler Command Pro Horizontal Engine has a keyway and a hole in the end of it, so it can be used for pulley retention.

  9. do i need to run break in oil in this engine

    1. The engine does not need to be run with break in oil. Just use the normal engine oil and do normal engine maintenance. The oil should be changed at 5-10 hours use.

  10. Specific applications?

    The specs seem perfect for my Troy Bilt tiller, but only mentions pressure washers and log splitters. Is the oil capacity too low to operate at an angle when tilling?
