  1. If the ratio is 64 to 1 movement is the torque 64 to 1? So if I put a meter on the back side and tighten the torque will be 64 to 1 also?

    1. A 64:1 torque multiplier multiplies the input torque by 64. For example, 10 ft.-lbs. in equals about 640 ft.-lbs. out. If you measure torque on the output side, the wrench reads the actual output torque, you do not multiply that reading by 64.

  3. What does the gear ratio on the torque multiplier of 1:64 actually mean

    1. A 1:64 gear ration means that the handle (input) spins 64 rounds and the socket (output) will spin 1 round. It is easy to spin the handle to loosen the socket. This wrench requires little effort to reach a sufficient output torque and does not require the use of an impact wrench.

    1. This torque multiplier does not torque to a specific ft.-lb. rating; however, it has the capability to deliver up to 3,540 ft.-lbs. of torque.

    1. The extension bar is used between the crank handle and socket when the torque multiplier is not being used to loosen or tighten a nut. More about this can be found in the product manual, located on the product web page, on pages 6-7.
