  1. How is this tool used.

    I have herd about these took multiplierers but do not know how they work or how to use them.

    1. simple, your correct size 1/2" lug nut socket goes on the male end, the handle looking part with the black rubber end actually fits into one of the spoke holes in your wheel to keep the tool from turning, then put your ratchet into the female end and effortlessly loosen tight lug nuts

    2. This tool has a 3.4 :1 reduction. So what that means is you divide your bolt, set torque, by 3.4 and set your torque wrench to that number. Example: My 2015 RAM lug nuts are supposed to be tightened to a torque of 130 ft lbs. So 130/3.4= 38.2 ft lbs is what I set my torque wrench to, and stop when it clicks, then to the next lug till they are all the same.

    3. This item is to be used with hand tools (specifically ratchets). Please note pneumatic and battery operated tools are not to be used with this item. The ratchet's ½” drive will couple to the top potion of the unit. The socket will attach to the bottom ½” and connect to the nut on the wheel. The black knob will be facing the wheel. Please see my product recommendation below for a ratchet that will work well with this unit.

  3. Can I use this tool with a 200 lb. torque wrench?

    In other words, to achieve 294 lbs/ft. by dialing my torque wrench down to 86.5 lbs/ft?

    1. This tool has a 3.4:1 ratio and can be used with any 1/2 in. drive torque wrench that can be dialed down to a maximum of 130 ft./lbs. As an example, to achieve 294 ft./lbs. with this Klutch Mini Torque Multiplier, the torque wrench should be dialed down to 86.5 ft./lbs.
