This Klutch 120/240V Dual-Voltage 180A MIG/Flux-Core Welder with LCD Display and Spool Gun is designed to give you a smooth and stable arc to provide a consistent welding bead with all kinds of material, especially aluminum. The hardwired spool gun allows for a quick welding start without the need to connect or change when working. Features a full-screen LCD control display plus advanced IGBT technology to provide added efficiency. Professional synergic settings enable easier operation to benefit users; even beginners can make a perfect weld with the default synergic settings. The efficient inverter-powered system is super lightweight, up to 50% lighter for easy transport, and requires up to 25% less input power than traditionally powered welders while also delivering consistent power output. The unit features multi-process welding capabilities with MIG/flux-core functions. Dual-voltage 120/240V input can be plugged into most outlets for convenient use almost anywhere. The smooth DC output can weld a wide variety of materials including steel, stainless steel and aluminum up to 1/4in. thick. Output: 30–180A (240V), 30–140A (120V); duty cycle: 25% @ 180A (240V), 40% @ 90A (120V). The welder comes complete with a fixed 10ft. spool gun, fixed 6ft. ground clamp and cable and a 240–120V adapter.

  2. How do I set up the machine to weld Aluminum

    1. Connect the polarity conversion cable to the positive (+) Dinse terminal and the ground cable to the negative (–) Dinse socket. Install the U-type drive roll on the spool gun. Ensure the ground clamp is securely connected to the workpiece and that all connections are tight before welding.

  6. Does it weld aluminum on a condenser coils

    1. This welder is not suitable for welding aluminum on condenser coils, as the coils are very thin and are likely to be burned through during the process.

  7. Can this welder be used with a generator that produces 7000 watts?

    1. This welder can draw up to 200 maximum amps and 120V or 240V. A 7,000 watt generator will not be large enough to support this welder.

  10. How many amps will this draw from a typical 120v outlet? I dont want to trip my breaker if it needs something atypical like 30amps or higher.

    1. The maximum amperage draw for 120V is 21.4 amps and for 240V it is 31.5 amps.
