  1. Does the spindle travel display read in mm or inches or a choice of either one? The photos only show mm.

    1. The display reads in mm only. It does not have an option to display in inches.

    3. Mine arrived yesterday. The spindle readout is in mm only, so you'll have to convert your inch dimensions to metric. It does read from 0 to 100 mm, which is just short of 4".

    1. The drill press delivers 0.95 N·m of torque at high speed and up to 3.6 N·m at low speed. Speed ranges are 170–880 RPM (first) and 490–2600 RPM (second).

    1. The user can choose between two speed ranges using the gear selector switch on the front of the press. Low speed (1st gear: 170–880 rpm) is ideal for larger tool diameters. High speed (2nd gear: 490–2600 rpm) is best for smaller tool diameters.

    1. This drill press could double as a makeshift spindle sander with a drum attachment for light to moderate sanding jobs, but be aware of its limitations and take proper safety measures. For regular or heavy use, a dedicated oscillating spindle sander is much more efficient and safer.
