    1. This will work on an 8 foot sheet as long as the width is under 24".

  5. What is the maximum thickness of Aluminum sheet?

    1. For a normal aluminum sheet, the thickness this box and pan break will handle is 1.2mm. For an aluminum alloy sheet, the thickness it will handle is 0.5mm.

    1. This box and pan brake does not have an angle or degree stop gauge lock to allow for repeatable bends for production parts.

  7. How does one adjust for setback? (Compensate for thickness)

    1. The box and pan brake can due steel sheet metal of 0.04" (1mm or 20 gauge). You would leave a 1/8" (3mm) gap to make the bend clean. This gap will increase when bending thicker materials.
