  4. How do you adjust the height, and what is the biggest height between ceiling and floor that can be achieved?

    1. To adjust the height, determine the desired distance from the ceiling to the bottom of the rack. Align the holes on the upper and lower posts to that height and secure them with screws, as shown in Step 2 on page 8 of the Product Manual. The minimum adjustable height from the ceiling is 23 inches.

  5. With the ceiling brackets only 18”, if the joists are 24” OC, then what?

    1. Due to their 18" length, these garage storage systems are not recommended for installation on joists spaced 24" apart on center.

  6. What are the inside dimensions? Will 4ft x 8ft sheets of paneling or plywood fit inside the hangers?

    1. The inside dimensions of this overhead storage rack are 47.3" wide x 95.3" long. A 4' x 8' panel or plywood sheet is approximately 47.5" wide x 95.5" long due to trimming and manufacturing tolerances, so it would not lay down flat in this rack.
