  3. Is it possible to rotate the mounting brackets 90 degrees so they are parallel to the sides of the rack? I need to place next to a wall and would not be able to use the brackets in the placement shown.

  5. Can the mounting brackets lay across ceiling joists? Or do they have to be mounted to something?

    1. The brackets can not lay across a ceiling joist. Only use the provided fasteners to mount. Do not alter or modify any components included with the product.
