  3. Can it be converted to run on 220vac?

    1. The motor is not designed to be converted to 220V. Any modifications like this could damage the machine and would void the warranty.

  4. What is the bore size of the piston? I need to replace the reed valve and am having trouble locating the proper size.

    1. The piston bore diameter is 3.21" (81.5mm). The manufacturer recommends replacing parts 28-34.

  5. Is there a special connection required at the compressor side , I used a 1/4 and it’s not sealing correctly and air is leaking

    1. The air outlet is 1/4" NPT. For proper connection, make sure the hose fitting also has an NPT thread.

    1. This air compressor can produce 5.1 CFM at 90 PSI and 6 CFM at 40 PSI. It has a 75% duty cycle. It is best to check the requirements of the equipment to determine what air compressor is needed.

  7. What is the normal brake in procedure for this air compressor

    1. Please use the following procedure for breaking in the air compressor:
      1. Turn the power switch to OFF and unplug the power cord.
      2. Turn the regulator to “+”and fully open it.
      3. Fully open the drain valve.
      4. Plug in the power cord.
      5. Turn the power switch to ON.
      6. Let the unit run for 15 minutes. Air will expel freely through the drain valve.
      7. Turn the power switch to OFF.
      8. Unplug the power cord and close the drain valve.
