  1. Is the hoist weatherproof

    1. This hoist should not be exposed to the elements. If it must be used outside, protect it from the elements and bring it back indoors when the job is complete.

  2. mounting this on a 13 foot ceiling means the control mechanism would then be 8 feet above the ground?  With a cable reach over 19 feet (doubled) how can it be used with such a short control cable? How about a longer (10 ft) cable to utilize this?

    1. The remote cable can be lengthened to 6.56' (2m) if done by a licensed electrician. Extending it beyond this length is not recommended as there will be a current drop in the pendant control.

  3. I see the dimensions are 17.8 x 4.9 x 8.9 with 8.9 being the depth. What is the hole pattern for mounting on the 17.8 x 4.9 top surface. Are the holes threaded and if so what is that thread spec. Location of that hole pattern relative to one end also.

    1. The mounting holes are 6.10" x 3.23" apart on center. The mounting holes have an M8x6 thread. The mounting holes are 1.30" away from the left end and 4.45" away from the right end as pictured.
