King Kutter Gear-Driven Rotary Tillers are designed to perform with its cast iron gear box and square tube frame. With 6 tines per flange, you get maximum soil mix for preparing planting beds, gardens, incorporating fertilizer, landscaping or other jobs. Features patented kick stand for convenient hookup. This Category 1 tiller includes a PTO shaft with heavy-duty slip clutch. Available in 4ft., 5ft., and 6ft. models. The 4ft. model is offset to eliminate tire tracks.

  2. Can you use this with your 70 hp Nortrac tractors?

    1. This rotary tiller is a Category 1 implement and is not compatible with the NorTrac 70 HP tractor. The 70 HP NorTrac has a Category 2 3-Pt. hitch. This tiller is compatible with tractors up to 50 HP as long as they have a Category 1 hitch. The largest NorTrac tractor with a Category 1 hitch is the 35 HP model. Click the links below to view the 35 HP tractors. Northern doesn't carry a Category 2 rotary tiller.

  3. Is the horsepower rating refer to the PTO HP output at 540 RPM's ?

    My JD 4520 Tractor PTO output is 46.58 HP at 540 rmp's. The gross HP is 53 HP.

    1. The horsepower range is a minimum of 35 to a maximum of 50.

  6. difference between forward and reverse rotation

    1. This rotary tiller is only designed to be used while tractor is moving forward and the tiller tines only rotates in one direction. Never attempt to turn in reverse or backup in reverse while using this tiller.

    1. Northern Tool doesn't carry replacement parts or tines for this rotary tiller. Replacement parts would need to be ordered from the manufacturer.
