  2. How loud is this when running? The one we have now sounds light a plane taking off when starting and continues at that high sound.

  4. The instructions say "The lead wire of external temperature control (external thermostat) can not be less than 8 AWG." Surely I'm not running 8 AWG to a thermostat, isn't 18 AWG about right? What am I missing or misunderstanding?

    1. According to the product manual the lead wire of the external temperature control (external thermostat) cannot be less than 8 AWG. It also states the temperature control should be in accordance with the requirement of UL or ETL standard.

    1. Direct venting regarding this unit refers to un-obstructed air flow to the hear. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust openings. The air flow direction should not be obstructed by any columns or machinery.

    1. The fan speed is not adjustable. You may only adjust the air flow by turning the heater as needed.

  9. Can I hook up two of them on the same breaker?

    1. It is not recommended to hardwire both heaters to the same breaker.

  10. It says hard wired but can I wire a plug on it and use it in an existing 240 outlet I have.  40 amp
