    1. You would use a high-quality hydraulic fluid such as ISO 32, which is an equivalent to AW 32 or AW46 hydraulic fluid.

  3. Can you use it to keep your car lifted above flood waters? I live in south Louisiana. We get lots of coastal floods on the bayous.

    1. The lift can be left on the scissor lift for extended periods of time, provided it is properly supported by the lift's mechanical safety locks, not just the hydraulic pressure.

  4. does this need to be bolted to the floor abd if so how thick does the slab need to be

    1. The lift does not require that it be bolted to the floor. The lift can only be placed on a level concrete slab. The minimum thickness of 5.9" (150MM) with a 3000 PSI rating or more and should be aged at least 7 days. It is not to be used on asphalt or any other surface other than concrete.
