  1. does the package include the pipe that connects to the unit. is it rated for salt water.

    1. The pump does not come with the pipe. The length of the pipe will vary. It will depend on the location of the dock, height above the water and how low in the water you would like the pump to sit. The pump is rated for saltwater applications as long as the user monitors the zinc anode on a monthly basis and is replaced as needed.

  2. How many amps does the motor draw? If I need to use an extension cord, what size should it be?

    1. The model number 3400CDM050 has a draw of 6.6 amps at 120 volt. It is not recommended that an extension cord be used. Using an extension cord will void the manufacturer warranty.
