J-B Weld Original Cold Weld Formula Steel Reinforced Epoxy creates a permanent bond that can withstand temperatures up to 550°F. It is engineered to bond metal, most plastics and PVC, ceramic and tile, wood, concrete and fiberglass. It is the original cold-weld steel reinforced epoxy with a tensile strength of 5020 PSI and a set time of 4-6 hours. Includes two 5-oz. tubes.

    1. There is not a specific thickness amount listed. This can change per application. Manufacturer states generous amount to both sides being bonded.

    1. When fully cured, J-B Weld is completely resistant to water, gasoline, and most other petroleum products or automotive chemicals.

    1. The steps to use JB Weld goes as follows:
      1. Prepare. Clean surface area of dirt, grease, oil, paint, or loose debris.
      2. Mix. Squeeze equal parts from each tube onto a disposable surface and mix thoroughly.
      3. Apply. Apply with appropriate tool in an even coat, weld bead or extruded shape as needed.
      4. Dry. Sets in 4-6 hours.
