Product Summary

J-B Weld is The Original Cold Weld two-part epoxy system that provides strong, lasting repairs to metal and multiple surfaces. Mixed at a ratio of 1:1, it forms a permanent bond and can be shaped, tapped, filed, sanded and drilled after curing. At room temperature it sets in 4-6 hours to a dark gray color. A full cure is reached in 15-24 hours. 5020 PSI tensile strength. Sets to a hard bond overnight. It can withstand temperatures up to 550°F when fully cured. Includes two 1-oz. tubes.

    1. J-B Weld Original creates a strong bond of 5,020 PSI that can handle temperatures up to 550°F. It is ideal for repairing steel-to-steel connections and can be shaped after curing.

  3. Is this product conductive electrically?

    1. The JB cold weld epoxy is considered an insulator not a conductor. There are steel particles included in the mixture but not constantly through out the mixture.

  4. Will this work on a hole in a polyethylene boat?

    1. The model 8265S will only adhere to PVC or ABS plastic. It will not adhere to polypropylene or polyethylene plastics.

  5. Does it resist gasoline? I need to seal a crack in the the gasoline fill pipe.

    1. JB Weld model 8265S is waterproof. It is petroleum, chemical and acid resistant when fully cured.
