  1. Could this pump be used to pump water out of a pond to water my yard? Also how many amps does it pull?

    1. This pump can be used to pump water from a pond to a yard as long as it is used in clean water only. This has a maximum draw of 10.5 amps. If the pump is only transferring water temporarily from the pond to a yard, item 107793 may be a better option.

    2. This pump is suitable for clean water only. Not intended for use with salt water, brine, laundry discharge or any application that may contain foreign materials and/or caustic chemicals.

    1. This pump can be powered by a generator, provided the generator supplies at least 1,300 watts.

  4. Distance of water source is 30 ft. Can it still suck from it?

    1. This pump has a suction lift of 25 ft. It may work for this application depending how much vertical lift is required. It has a total head of 160 ft.

  5. Which port is the suction port, and will it damage the pump to decrease the port size to 3/4"?

    1. The suction port is on the face of the pump and the discharge port is on the top. Reducing the discharge port is not recommended as restricting the flow could cause back pressure and damage the pump.

  6. Will using an extension cord that has enabled GFCI outlets void the warranty on this item?

    1. Using an extension cord may cause severe damage and will void the warranty. The pump should be plugged in directly to the power source.

  7. I would like to know if this pump can take water pressure that is zero psi and pump it to a minimum of 60 psi.

    1. This pump is capable of drawing water from an unpressurized source and can deliver pressure up to 70 PSI.

    1. This booster pump should only be used with clean and clear water. Pool chemicals would damage the pump.

  9. Can I hook the pump to the spigot/garden hose to run supply water to a drip/emitter system for my vegetable garden?

    1. This pump can be connected to a spigot/garden hose to run water to a drip/emitter irrigation system, but there are a few important considerations to ensure it works safely and efficiently:

      1. Inlet Water Supply: Ensure that a continuous and clean water source is available before running the pump.

      2. Use with Drip Systems: Since drip systems are sensitive to pressure, we suggest installing a pressure regulator downstream to avoid excessive pressure to emitters.

      3. DO NOT RUN DRY: The pump must be primed and filled with water before startup. Running the pump dry (without water) can result in severe damage to the mechanical seal and motor, and will void the warranty. Please ensure the pump body is filled and all air has been expelled prior to operation.
