The Ironton Galvanized Steel Raised Garden Bed allows you to grow your own flowers, vegetables, herbs and more. 12in. deep with elevated 0.7mm side panels, this unit holds up to 48 cu. ft. of soil and installs directly into soil without a garden base, so it's simple to create a planting bed just about anywhere. The modular design allows you to add multiple boxes for an even larger garden bed. The corrugated galvanized steel construction withstands all kinds of weather. 4 long panels, 2 short panels and (4) 1mm thick corner pieces screw together for easy assembly with included screws and complete instructions. Assembled dimensions: 144in.L x 48in.W x 11.8in.H.

    1. These are NOT made for stacking.

    2. These raised planter beds are not designed to be stacked. For additional planting depth, you could add a base layer of bricks, landscape pavers or timbers to set the planter on.

    1. There is not a kit available that would allow you to be able to connect more than one garden bed together to increase the size of the planter.

  5. How do the stabilizer bars attach?

    1. The rods do not attach by means of hardware, they simply fit between the panels and the pressure of the panels hold them in place.

    1. These garden beds are not certified. The galvanized coating does contain zinc.

    1. To paint the galvanized steel, it is recommended to clean it, sand it, prime it, then paint it with an acrylic paint.
