    1. EVA foam is resistant to gas splashing on it; however, it is recommended to wash it off within an hour to prevent damage.

  5. Do the edges taper down to floor level or are the just blunt. In other words could I easily roll carts and equipment across them or is there going to be a big bump to jostle over.

    1. The mat does taper down on the edges. A cart can be rolled over the mat much more easily once it is worn in. The cart weight and wheel type may cause the mat to slide especially on a smoother floor. You can use adhesive tape to ensure the mat will stay in place.
