  1. Can this mat be used on grass to prevent a chair from sinking into grass?

    1. I'd think that you would find that lawns vary in weight-bearing capacity from one yard to another, and that different chairs could have different sized legs, which could spread out the load on the mat or concentrate it. Furthermore, people vary in weight and in the manner in which they apply their weight to various seating surfaces. So give some thought to these factors when you try using the mat for your intended purposes.

    1. The manufacturer does not have a weight rating on the mat. The mats have not been tested for a maximum weight rating. There are to many variables. The mats are made of recycle car tires that are shredded and compressed.

    1. A degree of how hot the rubber mats would get in the sun is not available. They will absorb heat and get hot in the sun.

    1. This can be cut. It is recommended to use a utility knife with a fresh blade and to make several passes, cutting a little bit deeper with each pass.

    1. The anti-fatigue mat would not shrink if used outdoors in the sun. The rubber would get hot in full sun.
