    I am old with back problems among other things, and I need to change my tractor hydraulic fluid. Will this pump transfer the hydraulic oil from 5 gallon buckets to my tractor?

  2. Will this pump dawn dish soap or would that be too thin

    1. While the liquid dish soap can be pumped easily due to its viscosity, its water-based nature makes it unsuitable for the metal components inside the equipment, as it may cause rapid and severe corrosion.

    1. The lever action hand pump is not able to be used for cleaners, vinegar, shampoo or lotions. The pump is designed for use with transmission fluid, differential fluid and heavier oils.

  6. Will this move 90W gear oil?

    1. The pump is listed for use with oil viscosities of SAE30-SAE140. The 90W gear oil would be too thick and is not recommended for use with this pump.

  7. Does this lid provide a water tight seal?

    My bucket with pump will be on my trailer and exposed to the elements. Does this lid provide a seal from water getting in, or my chemical getting out?

    1. The lid has 4 wing nuts to tighten it to the bucket. It does not have a seal and is not recommended to be used as the cover for the bucket when transporting it.

  10. What is the ID of the outlet hose? What is the thread size of the pump outlet?

    1. The outlet hose has a 7/16" inside diameter. The hollow outlet port bolt that is open in the center, measures 15/32" in diameter and looks to have Metric thread pitch of 1.0.
