  1. What is the travel speed/lift rate?

    1. slow with or without weight but adequate. About the same as cranking by hand without the sweat.

    2. This jack takes 87 seconds to lift 18 inches under no load and 144 seconds to lift 18 inches under load. To lower 18 inches it take 84.9 seconds under no load and 90 seconds under load.

  2. How is unit powered ?

    Can unit be powered from 7 pin trailer connector or must separate power be ran from battery of truck or auxiliary power terminals. ?

    1. My mechanic hooked mine up being powered from the trailer wiring harness using a round RV plug using the white wire for power the truck lights must be turned in when power is needed to the jack.

    2. This trailer jack needs to be connected directly to a 12 volt battery and cannot be connected to the vehicles trailer light connection.

    1. This trailer jack is rated for up to 3,500 lbs. As long as the trailer’s tongue weight does not exceed 3,500 lbs., the jack is compatible with the trailer.

  9. Can you put a wheel on vs a plate?

    1. Yes, the footpad can be removed and replaced with a wheel. The insert is 1-7/8" in diameter. The lock pin measures 3/8" in diameter.
