  1. Does the input hose have to be filled for the pump to self prime?

    1. The 2827‑IPT‑95 only requires the pump casing to be flooded for priming; the suction hose may remain dry but must be 20 ft or shorter for reliable self‑priming.

    1. This pump is not prewired. It does come with wiring instructions that are located on the pump motor.

    1. The IPT Centrifugal Pump is a continuous duty pump. The pump will require adequate air with an ambient air temperture under 104 degrees.
