    1. It is not recommended to reduce the outlet on the pump. This will restrict the flow and increase the back pressure on the pump.

  5. This pump would be permanently mounted for warm season sprinkler use. Does it have a drain to leave  It mounted year long where the water will not crack it if the water cannot drain out?

    1. Model 2878-IPT-95 is equipped with a manual ¾″ NPT drain plug but does not have a self-draining feature. For use during warm seasons above 40 °F, you can leave it mounted year-round. However, be sure to remove the plug and drain the casing before any freezing temperatures to prevent cracking.
