    1. Connecting batteries in series increases voltage, but does not increase overall amp-hour capacity. All batteries in a series bank must have the same amp-hour rating. Connecting batteries in parallel increases total current capacity by decreasing total resistance, and it also increases overall amp-hour capacity.

    1. A battery charger can be attached to the secondary posts using alligator clips. You will need to make sure that there is a solid connection and have good contact with both sides. Eyelets can be used as long as they are screwed down tightly. The best option is to always to attach to the main positive and negative on the battery.
