  2. How many amps are required to run the 7.5 hp compressor

    1. The amp draw on the compressor is 34.1 amps. The compressor will require a 50 amp breaker.

  3. Are these screw compressors compatible for automotive painting or do they discharge some oil into the compressed air that would contaminate a paint job. Also, what is the CFM rating on this compressor?

    1. The manufacturer's recommend at least one filter be used for a painting application. They suggest model #FA75IG for a first filter, and model #FA75IH if you wish to add a second filter. These are available to purchase from the manufacturer. The CFM is 28 @ 125psi.

    1. This unit does not come with an air dryer. A compatible dryer is our item 1592072. Please note that several other dryer models are compatible with these units.
