It would be recommended to use a regulator with the pump. It would not be recommended to use full pressure of 150 psi. With the regulator, the pump speed can be regulated to meet the demand of fluid required. When priming the pump, you want to start with low pressure. We offer an air line connection kit PN: 66073-1 (Item 59745) which includes the filter/regulator P39124-600 (Item 4971795) and hose with fittings. This has a max air inlet pressure of 150 psi. If the inlet pressure is going to be higher, use filter/regulator P39124-620 (Item 4972253) with metal bowl, this is not in a kit.
