    4. Will hook up to any normal LP tank such as the 20 # LP tank. Any thing smaller than this would be sort of a joke. It is a high end 500,000 BTU torch and the difference is like the MPG on a lawn mower engine and a big block chevy hot rod.

    3. Yes, the hose will connect directly to a 20 Pound tank using a 1" wrench

    4. YES comes with a nice handy very long hose. Unlike so many products sold with 24" hoses and 12 inch electric cords. Their not saving production dollars on the hose. The connection with built in regulator works on any std LP tank with out the use of a expensive gas regulator. Recommend do not open LP tank wide open seems to work better that way.

    1. Out of the box I attached to a 20lb propane bottle

    2. There is a small adjustment knob on the torch that allows it to be used without a regulator. Be aware that a small adjustment of this valve goes a long way.

    3. The torch would not require a regulator. It has a control on the top of the handle to control the flame.

  5. Can more than one be connected to a 20lb tank?

    Also how much coverage width is the flame?

    1. Only one at a time.

    2. It is not recommended to have more than 1 torch kit connected to the propane tank. A flame width is not available, the inside diameter of the torch head is 2.25 inches.

    1. At this time, Northern Tool does not supply an extension hose for this unit. Please see item 29201 for a similar unit that has a 32' hose.
