This Ideal 2-Post Floor Plate Vehicle Lift is excellent for low-ceiling applications. The safety lock design is proven safe and effective, and the saddle adapters are great for lifting framed vehicles. Item too large for lift gate; requires forklift on site for unloading. This item is delivered by LTL enclosed van carriers Monday-Friday. A forklift is required to offload the lift from a dock-height trailer.

  1. What is the weight of the heaviest single item.

    I'm wondering if it is manageable by two people.

    1. I lifted post by myself. It was heavy but I’m 52 yrs old and 167 lbs

    2. It is definitely manageable by two people. I was able to assemble it myself using an engine hoist and wheel dolly to help move the heavy pieces.

  2. My garage has a 3 inch slope from side to side, will that affect installation and use?

    1. You will have to cut the floor form up with rebar and pour concrete in then bolt to the floor to do it right the instructions will tell you exactly how to do it safely

    2. The slope would affect the installation and use of the 2 post lift. The lift has to be installed on a level concrete floor. You would need to find a way to level the garage to mount the lift.

    1. The concrete should be a minimum of 4-1/4” thickness and 3,000 psi tensile strength with steal or fiber mesh reinforcement.

    1. The width from front to back from the side on each post is 11" and the depth across the front is 7 1/4".

    1. The lift does come equipped with safety locks. The first safety latch engagement is at approximately 30 inches high.
