  1. What size room can it heat

    1. This heater will heat an area up to 250 square feet.

  2. can you add a thermostat, and does it need a 1/2 inch supply line or a 3/8 inch supply line

    1. An external thermostat item number 55463 can be added to the heater. The size of the fuel line needed will depend on the amount of line used. From 0-10 feet, you will need to use 3/8" schedule 40 pipe. If over 10 feet, you will need to use 1/2" schedule 40 pipe. Installation instructions are included in the manual.

  3. Does it pull combustion air from the outside, with a sealed combustion chamber, thus safe for bedrooms?

    1. The heater does take outside air for combustion through a double walled vent. The heater can be used in a bedroom with correct venting and clearances.

  5. I have a 100lb LP tank source. Does this heater require a LP pressure regulator in line with tank?

    1. The heater will require a regulator to regulate the pressure coming into the heater.

  6. At 7000 feet in elevation will I need a high altitude kit?

  7. I see from the other question that this heater can have the external millivolt thermostat model number HWTMV added. Can it have a nonprogrammable digital thermostat added? I would like the ability to turn it down to 40F.

    1. The optional thermostat that is suggested for use with this appliance is specially designed for millivolt systems. Any replacement thermostat would have to be millivolt as well.

  10. I am considering this heater for a specialty wood kiln. Temperatures in the kiln need to reach 160 degrees F for up to 8 hours. Does this heater have a high temperature kill-switch? Can it accommodate a thermostat that can be set to 160 degrees F?
