  1. Can this be purchased with a snorkel air cleaner or fitted with a snorkel type air filter

    1. This engine is not available with a snorkel air cleaner filter and it cannot be fitted for one, Honda does not offer this option.

  2. Can the shaft be shorter?

    1. Modifications cannot be made to this engine. Shortening the crankshaft would void the warranty.

  3. Does this motor come with the oil cooler

    1. The engine would have an oil cooler.

  4. Can this motor be governed down to 1800 rpm?

    1. This does not have a governor for adjusting the max RPM down. This would need to be done by adjusting the throttle manually.

  5. will a muffler from a gx670 match this a gx690

    1. The muffler from the GX670 would not fit on the GX690. The GX670, being an older model would have the mounting set differently.

  6. Does this model include the "20 amp charge coil and if so is it sufficent to run accessories as well as charge the battery?

    1. This Honda engine has a 17 amp charge coil which is sufficient enough to run accessories while charging the battery.

  7. Is the shaft length the distance that it protrudes from the engine or the overall length of the shaft?

    1. The length is measured from the protrusion of the shaft to the end of it.
