    1. The maximum working temperature the water pump can be used with is 95 degrees.

  2. Will new wb30xt Honda pump burn out the seal if it runs out of water

    1. Operating the pump dry will destroy the pump seal. If operating the pump dry, you will need to stop the engine immediately and allow the pump to cool before priming.

    1. Electric start is not available for the pump.

  4. Is this good for fire protection using pool water?  Is there a 150 hose available?

    1. This pump is not designed to pump chemically treated water. The pump is intended for clear non-drinking water. Pool water that is chlorine or salt water will damage the seals of the pump.

    1. This pump does not come with an adjustable flow valve or engine idle to control your GPM.

  6. How much water does it take to prime the pump. Are you just filling the pump chamber or also filling the intake hose?

    1. To prime the pump, you would remove the filler cap from the pump chamber, and completely fill the pump chamber with water. Reinstall the filler cap and tighten. See page 20 of the product manual on our website.

  7. Will it damage the pump to run it dry? Using it to suck out sumps that have water entering slower than the pump's flow rate. Thanks

    1. It could damage the pump it it were to run dry. If you are pumping out sumps, we would recommend a semi-trash pump such as item #109173.
