    1. The welder can be run from a generator. It would require a generator that produces 6,500 to 10,000 running watts with a 50-amp circuit output.

  3. Can I run 50 amps through this welder? Or just 30.

    1. It is recommended to set the welder up on a 30 amp breaker. If the breaker should trip, the welder is protected from damage. It could be set up on 5 amp breaker but does not have as much protection from damage to the welder.
