Standard plasma cutters stay hot for quite awhile, even after they're done cutting. But the Post-Flow Cooling feature on the AirForce 12Ci™ quickly cools the torch after your cut, helping to extend the life of the tips and electrodes that you just finished using.

Pilot Arc Starts Minimize Tip Burnout

The internal pilot arc creates a small arc inside the nozzle, then starts a "real" arc when the mini plasma touches the work. The pilot arc doesn't require you to touch the work, saving on your tips, and also allows you to more easily start the cutter on rusty, painted or greasy surfaces.

Quick Troubleshooting Indicators

Diagnostic LED lights are built right in to aid in status checks and troubleshooting of power, temperature and torch readiness. The lights make it easy to quickly assess the situation at a glance.

Protection from Overloads

Thermal Overload Protection allows the plasma cutter to withstand tough work environments and shuts the unit down to help prevent machine damage if the duty cycle is exceeded or the airflow is blocked. Rated for 35% duty cycle at 104°F. Duty cycle will increase as environmental temperatures decrease.
