    1. This transfer switch does not have a separate distribution. It would connect to the house's main breaker.

  2. Can a 100 a transfer switch be used with a 200 a entrance when 100a is waymore than we need

    1. A 100 amp transfer switch can be used with a 200 amp service, but it could not be installed as a whole house service entrance disconnect. It would need to be installed as a partial-home/subpanel set up that limits it to 100 amps to prevent melting the switch. Professional installation is recommended.
