    What is the longest practical distance we can wire unit from, Chart with length and wire size would be helpful

    1. You would need connect the generator to the existing gas line to the house. Professional installation is recommended.

    1. The generator would have a decibel (DB) rating of 72 DBA when operating at full load and 59 DBA in low speed exercise mode.

    1. The generator can be run on propane or natural gas. It will come set up for natural gas, but includes a conversion kit for propane.

  6. What is the max boost pressure the engine can tolerate (without an intercooler)?

    1. The engine in this generator was developed for natural aspiration only and not for super- or turbo-charging. Therefore, Generac does not provide any combustion air intake boost data or recommendations. Further, modifying the combustion air system in any way both voids the factory warranty and the USEPA engine emission certification, which, if operated in the US or its territories is a violation of US law.

    1. The propane consumption for this generator is 0.7 gallons per hour on exercise cycle, 2.9 gallons per hour at 25% load, 3.3 gallons per hour at 50% load, 4 gallons per hour at 75% load and 4.7 gallons per hour at 100% load.
