    1. The size of the gas supply will depend on the length of pipe that is needed for your installation. Based on schedule 40 black pipe, a 1" inner diameter pipe line can be used for up to 20', a 1.25" inner diameter pipe line can be used for up to 130', a 1.5" inner diameter pipe line can be used for up to 305', and a 2" inner diameter pipe line can be used for up to 945' for a 5"-7" water column. A 1" inner diameter pipe line can be used for up to 10', a 1.25" inner diameter pipe line can be used for up to 60', and a 1.5" inner diameter pipe line can be used for up to 125' for a 3.5"-5" water column.
