  1. How does this system filter in both directions?

    Do both filters work in both directions, or does one filter the the fuel in the dispensing direction and the other filter work in the siphoning directionl?

    1. It filters in both directions with one filter being used when pumping out of the caddy and the other filter being used when pumping into the caddy.

  2. why 2 filters?

    1. One is used to pump out the caddy. The other to pump into the caddy. This removes the need for manual shut-off and bypass when changing pumping directions.

  3. Does this filter system block water or does it require an additional filter?

    1. This filter system does not block out water. It only filters out contaminates. You would need a water block filter for water. Please see My Product Recommendations below for a fuel filter that also acts as a water separator.

    2. It does not come with a water separator but does come with two fuel filters so I bought a water separtor online and replaced one of the two filters that came on this unit.
