    Does this replacement assembly have both the shut-off valve that goes on the tank AND the shut-off valve that is on the pump/hose end (total 2 valves)?

    1. Yes, it does. Also, the hose on the replacement assembly is stiffer than the older hose and is not prone to kinking as the original hose would do.

    THE ORIGINAL HOSE WAS MADE OF PLASTIC, AND IT DID NOT REMAIN FLEXIBLE. VERY MISAPOINTED WITH THE QUALITY OF THE ORIGINAL HOSE.

    2. This Flo n' Go Duramax Fuel Caddy Replacement Pump and Hose Assembly will now include a rubber hose which is similar to a garden hose.

    3. The Duramax now has a rubber hose instead of plastic. It is similar to a garden hose and will not become brittle and unflexible.

  4. can you fill a machine that is higher than the caddy with this pump assy

    1. The Flo n' Go Duramax Gas Caddy Replacement Pump (Model# 06932) can pump fuel uphill to a limited extent, but it's primarily designed for gravity feed and hand-pump operation.

    2. You would not be able to fill a machine that would be higher than the caddy. This works on a gravity feed system and the machine would need to be lower than the gas caddy.

  5. Does the handle lock in the on/open position

    1. No, you have to continuously pump to get fuel out. There is a lock on the handle that prevents operation unless you hold it back, which is kind of a pain. I used electrical tape to tape this lock open so I didn't have to mess with it.

    I HAVE A UNIT BUT THE HOSE KINKS , IT'S MADE OF POLYURTHENE VINYL/PLASTIC, LOOKING FOR A AFTER MARKET HOSE THAT IS MADE OUT OF RUBBER..

    1. This hose is more rigid than the original and made of a much better quality material, yet you can still coil it around for storage.
