    1. The Flex Seal liquid rubber coating does not have a dielectric rating. It can not be used to conduct electricity. It is not recommended to be used to insulate wire.

  6. What type of rubber is Flex Seal. There are many types of rubber "isbutylen isoprene, chloroprene, epichlorohydrin, vulcanized natural, perfluoroelastomer, etc. I have an industrial aplication that needs the type.

    1. The Flex Seal rubber liquid is made up of 25% nepheline syenite, 5% titanium dioxide, 5% octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane, 4% butanone trioxime, 3% carbon black and 2.5% silica.

  7. What are the temperature restrictions for application and dry time? Is it affected by cold temperatures?

    1. This has a wide temperature range from -80 to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. For best results, it is recommended to apply to surfaces and substrates in temperatures between 32 and 120
      degrees Fahrenheit. Please allow 24-48 hours to completely dry before adding additional coats and will fully cure in 48 hours.

    1. It is not recommended to be used with a paint sprayer due to the thickness of the product.

  9. how much pressure can it hold. i have a pool filter housing that is cracked , new one on order but need to operate filtering sys.

    1. Flex Seal will withstand normal hydrostatic water pressure such as rainwater, but it is not made to withstand extreme pressure.

    1. This Flex Seal rubber sealant would work well as a foundation sealant. It will fill the cracks but not stop the foundation from cracking.
